Iv a 32 samsung led tv when its turned on its fine but after a minute random lines apear down most of the screen. I checked the ribbon to the lcd and everytime I disconect and reconect the lines go away for a minute again. If this was a bonded tab issue would it not have the lines all the time?

Re: eu32c4000 samsung lines on screen after few minutes
Not necessarly, the problem ban be the lcd screen but is affected by even the littlest tracable amounts of heat on the ribbon ic or ics) affecting picture quality. Try freeze spray around the edges of the bezel especially concentrate on the top of the screen. See if the problem dissapates.Did I leave the soldering iron on? -
Re: eu32c4000 samsung lines on screen after few minutes
I dont think its a heat issue the lines are there after a minute and when I disconect the lcd for 1 second the lines dont reapear for a minute again not straight away.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Definitely panel, this is happening to tons of Samsungs and is a heat issue. The tab drivers have very little thermal inertia, so can cool quickly. There may be a fix for it, but it's not yet known.Last edited by tom66; 12-18-2013, 06:22 PM.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Well don't just chuck it. Put it on gumtree for £30 or strip the boards from it and scrap the rest. The main board on this is worth a fair bit. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by jeyoung12Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):
This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!
So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with... -
by ChrissygizmoHello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
by RunlincHi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.
I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.
I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.
Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.
Many thanks for your assistance5 Photos -
by totofI have a problem with my Samsung UE55MU9000T TV, which is out of order. The TV starts up normally, but after about a minute, horizontal lines begin to appear on the screen, and after another minute, only horizontal lines remain.
I noticed that the DC/DC converter on the motherboard (BN41-02570B) gets slightly warm, and when it reaches approximately 43 degrees Celsius, the horizontal lines appear. If I cool the converter with a freeze spray, the lines disappear, but of course, they reappear after a few seconds. I disconnected the LVDS cables and observed that the temperature of the... -
by ChrissygizmoHi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM - Loading...
