eu32c4000 samsung lines on screen after few minutes

Iv a 32 samsung led tv when its turned on its fine but after a minute random lines apear down most of the screen. I checked the ribbon to the lcd and everytime I disconect and reconect the lines go away for a minute again. If this was a bonded tab issue would it not have the lines all the time?

Not necessarly, the problem ban be the lcd screen but is affected by even the littlest tracable amounts of heat on the ribbon ic or ics) affecting picture quality. Try freeze spray around the edges of the bezel especially concentrate on the top of the screen. See if the problem dissapates.

I dont think its a heat issue the lines are there after a minute and when I disconect the lcd for 1 second the lines dont reapear for a minute again not straight away.

This tv only has a main and psu no tcon or inverter

Definitely panel, this is happening to tons of Samsungs and is a heat issue. The tab drivers have very little thermal inertia, so can cool quickly. There may be a fix for it, but it's not yet known.

Well don't just chuck it. Put it on gumtree for £30 or strip the boards from it and scrap the rest. The main board on this is worth a fair bit.

Yes I took the boards thats all I bought it for. Was just hopeing it was fixable
