No fanspin no signs of live at all
No water damage etc
Wouldnt switch on a few months ago so i opened it up and got it going using the powerpads. worked for a few months now dead again....Leave a comment:

have an old macbook showing no signs of live
magsafe lights up green then turns to orange
iv got the schematics and did some testing but cant see whats at fault, can anyone help me?
i tested along the pp3v42_g3h
u6990 and got
1 -15.5v
2 unconnected
3 15.5v
4 ground
5- 3.4v
6-6.7v
7-3.4v
8-1.23v
c6995 3.39v
r6995 3.39v
c6999 3.39v
c4650 and got 3.4v
r4650 and got 3.4v
u5403 pin 3 3.39v pin 4 12.45v pin 5 12.45v
c7046 pin 1 2v pin 2 got 12.45v

Ok I replaced the 2 caps for 47uf 35v and still not starting up.just the green led at the front. I take it 119volt on the 2 bottom heatsinks is normal? Should I order a new ic?Leave a comment:

33uf 25v caps had 0.44R on the esr in circuit. Do I need to remove them and test again. Iv went though my caps and don't have any 33uf to replace them with. Ill get some ordered anywayLeave a comment:

Took all readings on the 2000k settings
Pin 1 : 1295
Pin 3 : 043
Pin 4 : 092
Pin 5 : kept rising the longer I tested
Pin 6 : 030
Pin 7 : 093

I have the same psu and only gettin 320v across the big cap on standby. The tv wont power on at all. Would the cap be dried out or is the problem somewhere before the capLeave a comment:
