On this tcon I have checked this fuse and have nothing showing
Would this be the problem

nothing showing? are you trying to test it on ohms? or with tv on and voltage each side of the fuse?

Make sure not to confuse a single "1" on meter with 0.0 ohms.

Definitely not the tcon board just checked with a working one
Any other ideas please ?

Is light on t-con lit up? Flashing?

Hi yes the light comes on when cycling about 6 times.
Then goes out
If I unhook tcon from psu the tv starts up but no picture.
Or if I unhook y main. It starts up
I'm getting so frustrated with this tv
Any help would be appreciated

Y main is good and x and main swapped out

How are you certain the Y-main is good?

Means f*** all... you could have got a bad board and that has happened to me MANY times. Sellers just don't test their boards.

What's the best way to test the y main

Check ohms between Vs and GND, and check all transistors/diodes (mounted on heatsinks.)

Have the same model and same problem, TV turns on with Y main disconnected. Did you find problem on y main?

I am having the same problem, if I disconnect the y board the tv chimes but don't get no picture, i have changed power board, t con board and y board, the only possible other thighs it could be is the y buffer board, how can I test this to see if that is the problem, any help and ideas welcome thanx

I've fitted new y buffer board and still no luck, I have come to the conclusion that it must be that z board, I have disconnected both cables from the y board and the tv gets the chimes but still no pic does that point to the z board?
