About 6 months ago, my plasma didn't come back on after a house power outage.
I had to remove the AC plug and wait 5 min and then plug it in.
The issue then escalated to where if you turned the TV off for longer than 10 or so minutes that it would not want to come back on until you kept removing the AC and putting it back, that's when I got nervous that something was on the way out.
So, we put the TV in a power save mode at night where the TV was on, but screen in power save (blue screen off light), but you could still see a back-light.
TV was in this mode for 4 months.
We just lost power six days ago (off for a second) and now, the screen will not come on at all.
Turn the TV on and it cycles then it goes into a 9 blinking standby (panel error).
Opened the TV up, did a voltage check on everything (F, G1 and G2F) and the only issue i could find was G1 card, PRI_VCC was 0 volts. So, I replaced the G1 card.
Now, when I tried to turn it on, it blinks green and then goes into 6 blink standby.
Well, to my knowledge, that's a LowB Error.
I looked around and did some resistance checks and found an issue with R6301.
After replacing R6301 on the G2F board (10ohm resistor was reading 15k ohms), the TV now will start up, still no picture, power light blinks green at power on, which is a normal process, then its goes to a steady green and no longer will go into a standby blink mode.
The system has no sound when on, but will have static sound from the speakers if i put the tv in maintenance mode (display+5+vol up+power) the Xsus board gets warm, have not opened up the Ysus side yet.
What has changed is that I did voltage checks again and this time a big problem for me is that VSS on g2f is 0 volts, for all 3 of the vss on CN6013, it should be 85.3.
if i remove power from G2F to Xsus, the system will go into standby blinking 9 times (panel error) i cannot get a steady reading from Pri_VCC on G1 or G2F it fluctuates from 0 to 20.5v
5v standby on G1 and G2F is good and steady, 5.1v.
Because I have no voltage reading on VSS (any of them) on G2F is the G2F the issue?
Is it the Ysus or Y-buffers?
I so want to resolve this but am struggling with isolating the issue(s), can someone please help?
