    Maxent MX-50X5 screen flickers breifly

Hi fellas, I got this 50 inch maxent plasma television and the screen won't stay on... My friend says he could still hear sound and the power stays on.

So I checked the va and vs voltages and noticed vs was low at 190 volts so I brought it up to 196 and va was ok at 60 volts. didn't change anything so I'm thinking I may have y-sus and or buffer issues. I noticed when the screen does come on briefly it is fully lit without any horizontal black stripes which to me without testing buffers for shorts means the buffers are probably ok.

Help diagnosing this would be appreciated, I don't have much knowledge on these plasma televisions

If you could get the test patterns going, you could narrow it down a bit. It uses LG parts and I've looked at a picture of the control board, but I could not find the "test pattern" pins to short. That's about as much advise I can give.
