    Sony KDS-55A2000 4 blinks error.

Hi again, so I have this very nice and capable Tv yet it has this 4 red blinks error, it will turn on but after about 4 minutes or so it will turn off showing the 4 red blinking lights, from the remote I can turn it straight back on again and yet again it's about 4 minutes and then it will turn off again, from my research it seems it's a fan issue and there's possibly 3 of them, all probably needing a clean but what I ask is there anything to watch out for when trying to repair this issue? some have said actually taking the fans apart, cleaning them and then a re-grease, it also looks to have a green tinge to everything, I'm guessing degraded optics, namely the little LCD devices but maybe a clean can help here too, thanks, Andy.

4 blinks are for fan error. Fan error 4 times Diagnosis Item- Fan connector is not
attached securely. Fan 1,3 and 4 power not supplied

OK, all done it seems, took the whole of the rear apart, had a look at the fan, was very clean so I just put it all back together and it seems OK, it's just this green/yellow hue that I just can't adjust out, I guess this is the green blob people have experienced with there sets, it's a bit annoying but I can't really complain for £45.

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
            by AK_777
            Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

Sony XBR-75X940E intermittent 6 blinks error code
            by GoodCapDude
Hi everyone. First post on Badcaps!

I am trying to fix a Sony 940E from 2017 that either starts normally (and works perfectly until turned off) or goes straight to the 6 blinks error code without showing anything on the screen. It is frustrating to know that it can still work perfectly but is barely usable because of the difficulty starting it up. I am willing to try to short the BL_ERR but I would like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have a view on this? Thanks a lot....

HP EliteBook 850 G8 - Error code / Caps Lock permanently on and blinks twice every 6 seconds
            by Curtissimo
            Hi everyone.

            I have a HP Elitebook 850 G8.
            Serial: 5CG2324XM0
            ProdID 6L8D5EC#ABA
It has a Winbond W25Q256JVEN Chip.

I need to remove BIOS Password.

I made a dump with an CHA341A programmer and NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10.

            Attached my dump.

I also used the HP Unlocker tool to create an unlocked file (I followed the guidelines)

I also downloaded latest HP BIOS Update (SP158137) which includes 3 .bin files. I found the Number T76 in my original dump, so I used: T76_01210000.bin

            What I did:...

Panasonic P58V11B 8 and 12 blinks error "fix"
            by Biruslapio
Bought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.

Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner...
