Help with picture on samsung LN32a330J1D

A few weeks ago the bottom half of the picture on my samsung LCD tv got covered in horizontal lines and started ghosting and showing duplicate images displayed vertically. Here's a video of the problem - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKPXgGYx4RM
I disassembled the entire television and have not found anything out of the ordinary. The connections, wiring, and capacitors on the main board, power supply board, and t-con board all look fine, both on the front and back of the board. I have a good deal of experience in computer repair and can usually spot shots on boards, but these have stumped me. Also, the ribbon connectors between the t-con board and the lcd panel itself all look to be in good shape. I read that there is a problem in samsung tvs that these come loose and can cause these kinds of problems, but on this tv they all look to be uniform and connected properly. I don't want to have to buy a whole new television and would rather just replace a bad board, but I can't figure out what the problem is! Does anyone have any insight into this issue? I may just order a new r-con board, but I really can't afford to buy a part that has a slim chance of resolving the issue. Thanks guys!
edit- I also have already tried disconnecting, cleaning, and reconnecting every connector and ribbon cable between the various boards.

This is probably a tab bond fault, they come in various forms and can sometimes be repaired....

I tried doing that, pushing on each of the ribbon cables as well as on the glass and on the connector itself (while wearing non conductive gloves) and the picture never changed. So far I am at a loss...

Did you try the small ribbon chips on the side of the LCD panel?

This panel only has ribbons running along the top, and I tested all the other components (the tv is 100% disassembled and the components are set up on my test bench). I decided to order a new t-con board as someone accepted an ebay offer for $20 for one. Hopefully it'll fix it but if not, I can live with 20$ wasted and a fun project to keep working on. I'll keep you guys posted!

well, that didn't fix the problem, so I'm pretty much down to it being a connector. I know it is none of the connectors on the top of the panel, but I can't find the ribon chips on the side of the panel, I only see cables on the top... I'll post pics when i get off work.

I believe these panels integrate the side drivers into the top tabs, using some very very fine drive lines to the side of the panel. I have no idea if a fault like that would be fixable.

Well I'm pretty much given up, I have taken the entire television apart, fully removed the screen, back light, etc. and still can't figure it out. Thanks for the help guys!

I have the same model with a ghosting black and white picture. It doesn't appear that there is anything wrong with the LCD. Do you want to sell your boards?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                    Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
                    by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
                    by ermals
                    Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                    1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
                    2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
                    3. I've checked voltages...
