Well I'm pretty much given up, I have taken the entire television apart, fully removed the screen, back light, etc. and still can't figure it out. Thanks for the help guys!

well, that didn't fix the problem, so I'm pretty much down to it being a connector. I know it is none of the connectors on the top of the panel, but I can't find the ribon chips on the side of the panel, I only see cables on the top... I'll post pics when i get off work.

This panel only has ribbons running along the top, and I tested all the other components (the tv is 100% disassembled and the components are set up on my test bench). I decided to order a new t-con board as someone accepted an ebay offer for $20 for one. Hopefully it'll fix it but if not, I can live with 20$ wasted and a fun project to keep working on. I'll keep you guys posted!

Help with picture on samsung LN32a330J1D
A few weeks ago the bottom half of the picture on my samsung LCD tv got covered in horizontal lines and started ghosting and showing duplicate images displayed vertically. Here's a video of the problem - [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKPXgGYx4RM[/url]
I disassembled the entire television and have not found anything out of the ordinary. The connections, wiring, and capacitors on the main board, power supply board, and t-con board all look fine, both on the front and back of the board.
