Samsung 40" LCD Sound No Picture LE40D550K1WXXU

Hi,

I have a Samsung 40" LCD (LE40D550K1WXXU)

I this is giving me no display but has sound. I can see a faint blue hue to the screen (mostly edges and is faint) so I suspect the back lights are working. No Menu or channel display.

I have a feeling its the T-Con board.

Here is a Pic:



I havn't checked it yet but I rekkon it's going to be the white Fuse. Center left by the ribbon cable from the logic board.

Can Anyone confirm the syntoms and the fix?

P.s sorry for my newbury but do I test the fuse out of circut?

You need a multimeter. Probe both ends of the fuse voltage, red probe on one end and black probe on chassis. Expect around 12V or 5V on both ends. (While set working.)
