    Click When Plugged In?

Hello, I have an Emerson LC401EM2F which had a blown fuse, searched on here and found it to be a diode that was bad. Changed the diode with the recommended part and that corrected the fuse blown problem. But all I am getting is a click as soon as I plug the tv in and that's it! I also get another click when I unplug the tv. Tv does not power up, no lights, not anything but a click. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

Try to locate the source of a click. A relay is sometimes found on LCD TVs which can cause this clicking sound.

For service manual, schematic, boardview (board view), datasheet, cad - use our search.

It appears to be a relay on the main board. That's as far as I get though just a click when I first plug it in, and then another when I unplug it!
