Help with a blown Diode (Lenovo 15ith6h)

    Hello everyone,

I have recently gone to clean my laptop and noticed a bad Diode that's gone poof. I have also located it on the schematic also.

Whilst I'm good at repairing stuff in general, I would like some kind insight into what I'm working with here and the Diode I would need.

I have checked the whole laptop and suffer no issues usability wise, which is why I was shocked to find this, but am I right in thinking this is power voltage related?

    Thanks in advance.

Review the schematics to hunt for the diode that is blown. It should be nearby the PU5201 regulator in the schematic. The part number should be present in the schematics. You should be able to source the part from Digikey / Mouser / Arrow and perhaps RS Electronics.

Corsair RM 750 blown schottky diode near ES1DF
      by iyas132
Hi there, i am currently diagnosing my corsair rm750 that wont turn on, after a power trip.

Before the power trip, previously i need to push power button on my pc case quite a bit in order to turn the pc (and power supply on), however after the power trip now i cannot turn the pc on at all and i opened the power supply, and found out some of the component(s) are blown. (picture attached)

My current diagnostic is that the (schottky) diode marked "SF" in the 5Vsb circuit are blown and possibly the ES1DF diode too.

Can anyone help me identify the component...

Lenovo Yoga 330 11IGM YOGA330_MB_V06 Blown Voltage Reg V3P3A and ENE KBD Controller
      by ZixuTech
This is a Data Recovery case from Lenovo Yoga 330 11IGM onboard eMMC Sandisk 128GB

Seems like the device had a power surge. Blown U6002 and went and cracked the die of the KBD controller. I detached the JP6003/4 tracks around U6002 but short still appears around the kbd controller (i believe)

I havent had a case to replace and reprogram KBD controllers before. How can I get the dump and what tool do I need to use. Is there a process written somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Let me know if you know any jigs which can recognise these sandisk chips. I wont mind...

Lenovo Legion 5 (15ITH6H) kind of boot loop but not sure
      by Stefano Crivellari
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me fix my Lenovo Legion 5 (15ITH6H) laptop. Basically, after a windows update the computer would not boot anymore. When powering on the laptop the screen has no backlight and nothing would show up, using an external monitor did not help. However, the laptop would still spin up the fans and turn on the keyboard backlight. The keyboard backlight intensity function key would work and the power button led and the charging led are also working. I've tried every possible combination of key press and power button hold down time but did not change anything. At this point...
