    Samsung UN55D6003SFXZA

This is the first really thin TV I have had the pleasure of working on. The Set will not turn on. Power Supply BN44-00424A has an A 5vdc on pin 14 was 5vdc. B 5vdc on pins 13 &15 would cycle on/off continously. If you remove the P.S. CNM803 connector from Main Board (BN94-05429D) the B portion of the 5vdc on pins13&14 cycle even faster.
I can not find a downloadable Service Schematic
I bought a New P.S. and it did the exact same thing as the original P.S. so I returned it to Encompass and a 15% restocking fee. Bummer. No one has a used board. Set has 3.3vdc on several pins that feeds the remote. There are no buttons on TV. Everything is done through the remote. Only thing I can figure it is the Main Board BN94-05429D.
I tried jumping the A 5vdc to the P.S.-On on the P.S. and the B 5vdc still cycled on/off. Any Ideas? Suggestions? Schematics?

I am having a problem with Samsung UN55D6000 bottom LED blinking 10 times, then staying on a second or 2 then repeating. Was this your original problem?

Set was dead. No blinking less.

I have the same issue with my Samsung 51 plasma. The set was killed by a lighting strike, replaced the PSU and still no power at all. Wish I could provide you with schematics.

During the lighting strike, what inputs did you have plugged into the tv? Was it an HDMI and connected to a cable box?

It was HDMI, Im guessing the TV tuner is what actually blew out. Because I can hear the PSU wine very faintly. I don't mean to high jack this person's thread though. PM if you figure anything out with yours.

The main board was likely the victim.

Lights should light if main disconnected from SMPS. If not, bad power board. I did it backwards and removed screen and tested all LED's good then replaced power. ooooof. lesson learned. Examined board from bottom ICM801s exploded.

What is wrong with it to start with?

I have a Samsung UN55D6003SFXZA that I am looking at for a friend-he said a lightning strike hit his house and it wouldn't power up and the red power light o front is not on. I replaced the power supply PCB and still no power. Could the main board or both boards have been taken out?

Just force on the power supply and see if all voltage rails come alive. So what should you have done first place before ordering a new PSU is to check the 5V STBY voltage. If it is there and you can't turn on the TV, check the PSon pin. If there is nothing on that PSon pin while trying to turn on the TV, your main board is bad.
