use a diode to take the voltage drop instead of just wire. that extra voltage needs to go somewhere other wise more voltage on remaining diodes will make them burn out faster.Leave a comment:

Lights should light if main disconnected from SMPS. If not, bad power board. I did it backwards and removed screen and tested all LED's good then replaced power. ooooof. lesson learned. Examined board from bottom ICM801s exploded.Last edited by sspoonmann; 03-12-2015, 04:08 PM.Leave a comment:

ON POWER SUPPLY m853 8 pin sip 5v switch. Mine was burnt beyond reading so I used a stm4820 and it worked fine. -

DP50710 HDMI 2 and 3 no sound it brings up a black box that says "DVI input use HDMI1". I used 2 different DVD players and all hdmi inputs same. I even swapped out main board, same. Good video on all but no sound. HDMI 1 uses an external red and white audio input. -

Did you figure this one out. I have same 23 blink. Nothing blown on power board that i cant measure. power board does have 2 terminals for troubleshooting. ps-on and bl-on. I shorted both and got good back lighting. all hooked up I get ps-on from main but no bl-on like main is waiting for a trigger. also with back lighting on there is no osd or video just blue while it goes through the 23 blink to click. any help thanks.Leave a comment:
