Looks like I'll be ordering the SS then. I'll let you know the outcome. It'll probably take a week or so.

Do you think the bad SS could be causing my 6 blink SOS? from the ERC?

unlikely you have a P-board issue,SS board failure is a common one for this model.

Alright that's all the re-assurance I need to get ordering.

I just hope you don't end up like the last guy I tried helping when out of the blue the a-board quit on us .

Lets hope that doesn't happen. Atleast if that's the case I can return the SN and SS back to ShopJimmy and sell the PDP.
