Well heres another one that I've been meaning to get to for a while. It was given to me best friend that said it just started doing this Monday. So if i were to guess from the other Samsung similar models that I have seen post it on here with the same problem I would say panel issue. But part of me still wants to believe that it is a t-con problem. when turned on cold the streaks are there but not very apparent. Over the course of 30 seconds or so this streaks become more noticeable and move with images constantly. The streets usually come in the form of red on darker colors or a pinkish white on white colors. I do notice some digital artifacts in the top part of this streakswhich makes me want to believe that it's more or less a t-con issuevas I don't believe the panel can produce digital artifacts. That only happens on some scenes anyways. I've tried free spray I've tried heat and at one point I don't know what I did but I got the problem to completely go away momentarily for about 30 seconds and then it came back but at that time I had sprayed the panel and the t-con board and the mainboard. I have tried fussing with all the tab bonds and did not change anything I have also tried the ribbon cables connecting to the panel and still no change I have even swap out LVDS cable and still no change but the fact it that I got it to go away at one point leads me to believe that it is correctable this is a stubborn TV to figure out. And all the other people that had posted this kind of issue I have never seen if they successfully repaired this with a new t-con board. When there's a snowy screen every once in awhile the upper left hand corner gets bright and blotchy looking when I'm tuned in to snow off the air. any ideas what this looks like to you? Thanks guys

Could very well be T-CON. Does your T-CON have the AS15-F chip on it? I've seen color distortion, flashing, and vertical/horizontal lines created by this chip going bad. Freeze spray does not usually work on it. Try touching the chip, if present, after the TV is up and running and see how hot it feels. Be careful, I've burned myself on a failing one.

It's panel. Maybe tab bonds if you're lucky. Not gamma IC - colours are perfect. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

The reason I thought it could be a bad t-con board is because when I first turn it on it does this for a few seconda before it displays a picture. Someimes this and sometimes this and a huge red area to the right streaks red like this too. Followed by some vertical black lines.

Here's another picture of what this tv does for about 2 seconds before it goes normal when first powered up. This is cold startup. If warm it does not do it but the streaking is always there just gets worse after it's on. Should I bite the bullet and go for a t-con or still could be panel failure?

I would be surprised if it is a t-con failure, but I suppose there's a small chance if the VON/VOFF voltages are out. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
