My first suspicion would be the backlight. However the pattern is kinda weird for that.

Getting the back off the TV and posting a good picture of the circuit boards might tell us more.

This is a plasma - no back light. It could be a bad Y-Sustain, control board, or main board. You'll have to open it up to accurately diagnose the issue.

To me, it looks like the Vs or Ve voltages are low causing insufficient gas discharge.

Another thing is that when I turn on the tv the image is fine but after few minutes it begins to do that weird thing. When i get the time ill put it down, that is a heavy beast

When you do, take the cover off and give us some clear pictures to work with.

Hello everyone, thanks for your replies. Before i opened the TV i tried with LG's costumer service and luckily they gave me and extended warranty . This is the tv diagram.
First they replaced part 201 and the screen was the same, then they replaced part 207 and the tv got a little better and when they replaced part 208 the tv when back to its beautiful screen. Can someone explain me which components are they please?
              201 PART NUMBER: EBR67818201
              207 PART NUMBER: EBR71516301
              208 PART NUMBER: EBR67820001

              Thanks again for replying

Re: LG 60pz750. After year and a half strange burn in flickering

                201: Control PCB
                207: Y-sus PCB
                208: Z-sus PCB

So it looks like it was low Ve, as Z-sus on these generates Ve (LG call it Vzb/Vzbias.)

How far out of the warranty were you?

The warranty expired november 2012. So i was out of warranty for 10 months. I was about to ask. Why it fail so quickly? Is it the brand not reliable enough?

LG are more reliable than Samsung, and Panasonic are more reliable than LG.

However, I would actually consider putting LG ahead of Samsung and Panasonic now given the rash of failures of newer Panasonic plasmas, due to cost cutting. Newer LG plasmas fail very rarely, mainly because instead of the other two, LG rarely make significant changes to their designs year on year... they have found the optimal solution which is reliable and inexpensive to produce.

For them to honour a warranty expired by 10 months is great customer service.

                      hello again,
after 2 years the TV went back to the same problem. I read your tread about how to solder again where the coils are in a plasma Tv. I did it the first time but after a week the tv went back to the same problem I guess because of the quality of the solder. Today, I try a different solder apha fry rosin core but i think I made a mistake. I took off the old soldering it had with a solder remover. I solder again and now I have not image but I have sound. Did I damage the cards?
                      thanks in advance

Is the solder parts connected to the trace still ?

I believe so. there were some solder left on the joints and I put the new solder on top of it.

Should i use more solder to cover some of the trace?

yeah and you know what happen to the card at the left side 201 PART NUMBER: EBR67818201 I put solder without taking the old solder out and it gave a inky image if i disconnect the card from the right I think is the 08 PART NUMBER: EBR67820001. then I took off the card from the left again 201 PART NUMBER: EBR67818201, i took the old solder out and put new one and now it gives me just sound.

Ok do you have a DMM you could start to check some voltages ?
