Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Model number would be helpful. If Z80/Z70/X80/X70 series Viera loose LVDS can cause this...Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Usually on the bottom end. Cable is fine, in most cases, but the connection comes loose. I am watching a 46" Viera that I fixed with same issue. Once you get connection right it stays, suggest unclipping and reclipping connector. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
tried and tried ldvs makes cicking or screen does certain ways of cable is it worth getting another ldvs board ? can no test be done to rule that out
is there other things to try thing is I just got giving it and its a nice set
also the ymain when powered down sound like its having a hissy fit sort of like an amp noise funny to say more like a laser gun noise lolComment

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
It is probably not LVDS board. Maybe you need a new LVDS cable.
The SC (similar to Y-main) board can sometimes make noise when powered off, this is normal. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
Uhh. I have no idea. I'd be careful if you have pixel vertical lines. Can be sign panel is bad. I didn't reseat cable with unit running due to risk of panel damage. It's a bad idea to reseat cables with anything running can cause lots of problems. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
You can:
Hold VOL- on set and press 0 three times on remote. Release VOL-.
Wait some seconds... screen should flicker and service menu should pop up.
Press RED twice to get initial pattern then RED for each subsequent pattern. Note some patterns are generated by A board, but most by D board. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: panasonic viera red half screen
If you got those lines with the D board tests, the D board is bad.
The Vs and Vda(=Va) would not cause this. Whatever you do, do NOT touch Vda or you can kill the panel! The -Vad, Vscn and Ve cannot cause this either. Neither can buffer boards SU/SD or sustain/scan board SC or sustain SS. It's between A & D and given you isolated A, by doing testpatterns (and all showed noise right?) the D is bad. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. by Zelek11My Panasonic Plasma model P55VT50 has started displaying "interference" on just the left half of the screen only (left when facing the screen). Sometimes it's concentrated in about the first 30 seconds after startup, then disappears. Other times it's fine at startup and then randomly does it later on. When it flashes the interference it's very quick and doesn't stay on the screen unless it flashes repeatedly in a row.
This image is a screen shot from a video I took. This is an example of the interference at its worst. Often the interference is much smaller...10-14-2022, 04:54 PM -
Hi,
Trying to work out if this is TFT problem or TCon issue.
The TV powers up but the top half of the screen, from the right it is OK, but as you look across to the left halfway across it starts get duller and duller until it is very dark on the lefthand side, currently I trying to clean the remote as it seems to have something film wise on the pads stopping it from registering buttons pressed.
Also when changing the screen size of Windows PC display to say to a smaller pixel sizewindow, the original window displayin the top left stays/takes a few seconds to disappear?...2 Photos -
by ChrissygizmoHello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by renechhello,
I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left... - Loading...
