    Blowing Fuses on this...

    P50HDM Vizio Plasma with LG boards...

    took a quick video of symptoms... http://youtu.be/CwHbEXCOhFE

    D15 comes on
    D17 comes on
    D1 Comes on then shorts out and relay turns off

    Main board light stays on.

    I tried a few things from this forum...

    no fuses were blown when I started.. now on Y-sus board fuse keeps blowing fuses... help?

    it sounds like a short near the top left PSU near transformers... Thanks Guys...

    3 TV's kept out of Dump... lets make it 4

    also saw a puff of smoke come from Z-sus board when i unplugged Z-sus board... and turned it on... am i wrong but how does power get to Z-sus board? isn't it from Y-sus board?

      Pretty sure the Z is powered from the Y. Y is on the left, Z is on the right.

        X-sus = Z-sus. Same function different name. Please clarify.

          it is Z-sus sorry going from pic i found on my travels

          this is what i am looking at... not my pic but same setup

          Puff came from right Z-sus board near bottom
          PS= Power Supply

          Y = Y-sus

          X = Z-sus

          M= Main

          L= Logic

          A, B, C, D = connectors

            when i first tested it D2 lit up but not since fuse blew

              How do I check if Power board is culprit? how do i trace it down? cause if it is blowing fuses on Y-sus doesn't that mean it is putting out to much from Power board?
