    What you'll find, is that chip pair--on its ally plate--will get much hotter than the others....

    This is a sure sign of failure.

    No cure I'm afraid--panel replacement, For some reason Ive had three 42 PX 60/600 with those chips faulty. All the same day practically!
    --Seems its a common issue with those 42" Pans of that series.

    The 37" seems more reliable, not had one fail on one of those yet....
