    Would it be ok to use the fuse from the old failed LED driver board to replace the blown fuse on my PSU? because that fuse is not shorted I just checked.

        A fuse should show as shorted.

            Ok well maybe it does. Not sure it reads 2 ohms and if I put it on continuity it shows 0 ohms and beeps long

                That is shorted, you can use that one then.

                        The root cause was surprisingly simple though, I was too expecting an A-board fault.

                            Yeah no kidding. It was the first board I purchased a new LED driver. So I was right from the beginning what I didn't know is that it took the PSU with it.

                                            I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
                                            It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.


                                            So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.

                                            Hey everyone!

                                            I've gotten this TV for free, neither have it seen a TV repair man, neither have it been opened before.

                                            This post describes my entire troubleshooting process of this TV.

                                            When I turn it on using the ON/OFF switch at the side of the TV, the light rapidly flashes green, then it stays on, but it does not react to any of the remote buttons, side buttons, and doesn't play audio.

                                            I've taken the unit apart, and I've started to check some voltages:

                                            my tv almost 2 years not powerd on and when i turned it on nothing happened and only 3 red light keeps blinking
                                            i opened the back cover no sign of damage on the powery suply or motherboard
                                            when i plug in the power i hear the reley sound like tik first and another tik..after that only red keep blinking..

                                            I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

                                            Hi,
                                            I have the above tv that just shows a red light blinking twice 5 times, i have taken the back off and all the capacitors seem ok,
                                            When i disconnect the mainboard from the PSU all the led's light up blinking fast but as soon as i reconnect the mainboard back to the power supply i get the red light blinking again twice 5 times,
                                            I have attached pictures of the Mainboard, PSU and a small video (zipped) showing what happens when i disconnect the lead from the psu
                                            Any help would be appreciated...
