I push the power button and the power led turns a solid red as if its trying to turn on the just starts flashing red infinity with a one blink code with a few seconds pause in between and just keeps doing the same thing over and over. Any Ideas? what does a one blink code mean on this model anyone know?

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
Still need help on this one. Anyone know what I can check? the service manual says the one blink is the panel inverter. I replaced the LED driver board which i'm assuming is the inverter and its doing the same thing. -
Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
You should take pictures from all the boards, preferably with the macro setting on your camera/phone.
Also, take a picture of the connector that goes from your power supply to the mainboard, try to include the "legend " for that connector, which should be printed on the board near the connector.
That way the pro's here have something to guide you on in trouble shooting the TV..Proud owner of dozens of broken TV's and many, many, many boards.

Manuals available here, pin outs probably available

The E50/E54 are very similar to E5.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

It's Sergio2013 here, I just changed my username because this one is easier for me to remember. Anyways I'm stuck with this TV. I do have the service manual. I measured the voltage on the power supply at power up I'm supposed to have 24 Volts and I'm getting 0.034 volts only so thought it was the power supply I just got power supply put it in and same problem. I have also changed the LED driver board with same problem. What can this be?Comment

Can you see a power on or similar signal (like PS ON) on the power board? Do the other voltages for example like 12V rise? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
The power board has no legend. I'm not getting the 24 volts at power on as the service manual says I should be getting, but I am getting the 3.3 volts on BL-On.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
24V will only come on when Q7402 turns on, due to negative Vgs. This will only occur when Q7401 pulls its gate low, which will occur if SUB-ON goes high. If SUB-ON does not go high it's the A board. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
Do you have the service manual? Go to section 9.2 and on that first page it hasPSU connector P2, A board connector A02 labelled sub-on. On the next page that traces back to IC5000 on the A-board.
I think that was what Tom meant by sub-on. You asked which sub-on and then said there are lots of subs along with the sub voltages list but Tom is talking about the sub-on command from the A-board.

connector P2, pin 7 on P-board from A02 the voltage is 2.475
pin 13 A-board generated from IC5000 A-board the voltage is 0.192, but sometimes goes higher to like 0.800 and sometimes goes lower to 0.080.
What do you all gather from these measurments?
Pin 13 was measured on the P board on the A02 connector. Did I do it right?
I must have lots of learning to do because I don't understand how to read those pictures at all. Very confusing. I just need to know what pin numbers to put the probe on and on which connector and on which board and I can do it.
Can the Sub-on voltage be tested on the P board on connector P2? if so what would the pin number be?
This TV is terrible to work on, there is no legend on any boards.Last edited by sfernandes; 10-19-2013, 02:44 AM.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
I'm looking at TC-L47E5X service manual, I see A,P,K boards.
Now I'm confused, pin 7 P2 on the PSU is connected to connector A02 pin 13, should give you the exact result.
Unless I have the wrong manual?Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
I think you have the proper manual its the tcl47e5. Maybe you understood me wrong. All the measurements I did was on the P board on the P2 connector. I measured pin 7 and pin 13 on the P board, never measured any pins on the A board.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
Ok , pin 7 on the P2 is correct, pin 13 on that connector is not relevant and I don't know what it all means just wanted to guide you to the sub-on. I have to go, son just blew his lid and put his foot through the wall.Comment

Re: Panasonic TC-L47E5 LED TV blinking red power light PLEASE HELP
Ok no problem so before you go do I have to measure the pin 13 on the A02 connector on the A board then?Comment

by clooI recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...01-06-2025, 06:02 AM -
by ItepKHey everyone!
I've gotten this TV for free, neither have it seen a TV repair man, neither have it been opened before.
This post describes my entire troubleshooting process of this TV.
When I turn it on using the ON/OFF switch at the side of the TV, the light rapidly flashes green, then it stays on, but it does not react to any of the remote buttons, side buttons, and doesn't play audio.
I've taken the unit apart, and I've started to check some voltages:
- On the P11 connector, there is 15V DC only for a brief moment, then it goes

by VebririonHi everyone,
I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.
Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.
I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report... -
by Fergal22Hi,
I have the above tv that just shows a red light blinking twice 5 times, i have taken the back off and all the capacitors seem ok,
When i disconnect the mainboard from the PSU all the led's light up blinking fast but as soon as i reconnect the mainboard back to the power supply i get the red light blinking again twice 5 times,
I have attached pictures of the Mainboard, PSU and a small video (zipped) showing what happens when i disconnect the lead from the psu
Any help would be appreciated... - Loading...
