ok so got a real cheap NEC LCD4000 monitor
it's a 2003 model and the first large LCD ever made supposedly
it has 5 inverter boards
when i looked at it it had the bottom 3rd was dim
so brought it home and did some inverter swapping
since the bottom 2 werent working
first I swapped the 3rd one wit the6th and it didn't cjange so number 6 works
then i swapped 4 with 5 and now 4 bulbs are on
then the bottom one came on for 20 mins then died
they all feed each other so when i put the bad bottom one in the middle it wouldn't power the ones below it so it's definetly bad
am i correct in assuming the bottom inverter is bad when its cold it works and after 20 mins the bottom one shuts down
also the bottom 2 bulbs are brighter than the other 3 so the bottom must have been off for a while
