Another bad one there, mate...
Basically from 1 to 22 it should increase or decrease ONLY...
i.e. 1.5V, 2V, 3V, 4V, 5V is OK, 5V, 4V, 3V, 2V, 1.5V is OK, 4V, 5V, 6V is OK, etc.
Technical term is MONOTONICITY.

Thanks Tom it seems that's the only Tcon I can find on the net oh well back to the drawing board

You can still replace AS15 IC, it's about £3 on eBay...
