    Pioneer PDP-433pu

on this set it has blown 2 resistors R133 0.1 ohm and the 0.47 ohm by the R224 resistor everyone seems to try and find the weak link but ends up just replacing the psu but i would like to find what is blowing the 2 resistors anyone on the forum ever played with one of these sets without buys new board
i seen the new boards has a few new parts like few of the resistors are now box type cant really tell what they say pic one is my board pic 2 is the new board for 133 bucks with new parts on it

Can you highlight the parts that are failing?

Check if the components on the heatsinks are shorted.

Hi Slim did you ever get solved? I am in pretty much the same boat. I can only see the one resistor that is blown out on my board everything seems fine.

Pioneer VSX-40 ,Trying to ID these resistors
              by repair-it
I am trying to determine why these two resistors are the colors that they are. This is a Pioneer amp. The ones I am concerned about are the RED & GREEN colored resistors. I need to replace them and want to be sure to use the properly rated component....

Pioneer VSX-523-K Amplifier - Identify resistors
              by jason123
              Hi folks,
New audio equipment repair and I could use some help.
Picked up VSX-523-K Surround sound amplifer.

Upon power up for the first time (been sitting for a while) loud popping noise and smoke..

Disconnected, opened up and found many popped caps on the amplifier board.
Replaced all, replaced A992 BJT, and pre-amp transistor and power transistor. I found 0.47 Ohm resistors that are blown or have gone High impedance and I'd like to replace.

On the service manual, it shows these as 0R47(2) (assuming this is a 0.47 Ohm, 2W?)...

              3090 FE Part Confirm/Identification
              by H H
              Hello,

I'm hoping someone could help me confirm if I have identified the following parts correctly.

Apparently the DP cable became stuck inside the graphics card and was yanked out. This caused some sort of short which burned the DP contacts and blew some resistors and ferrite beads.

The parts needing replacement are on the back of the board behind the HDMI input.

I have identified the parts as the following:

              C6037: MLCC 0.1uf/16v(0402)x7R W05

              R6016: RES 499 OHM 1/16W (0402) 1%

              LB10911: Ferrite Bead (0402)...

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
              by TinkerTron
              Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
              The schematic...

Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01 Schematic and Parts List
              by Mark D
The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...
