    Transistor for Sylvania LC200sl8 LCD TV

    Can anyone tell me what transistor can I use to replace Q401? On the top it has a "K" and underneath C2026. I think it might be a KTC2026 but I'm not sure. Base to emitter and base to collector reads ok but It reads aprox 110 ohms between collector and emitter. I don't know if this is norm for this x-sistor. This x-sistor is used to power the inverter for the lamps. Any help will be appreciated. Thanx.

        110ohms meter reading is not normal for that transistor,
        it is has a Short Circuit.
        It should read Over Range if measured out of circuit. According to its datasheet,it has the following parameters:
        Low saturation voltage Vce = Vcb = 60V
        Ic = 3A
        Veb = 7V
        Ib = 0.5A
        Transition freq = 30MHz
        You can get it off eBay as already pointed out by the other forum member.
        For equivalent,you can use 2SD1266 regardless of its small size,but it works.
