Thanx Diah. I resoldered any suspicious connections and replaced main filter and C263 (100uf at 150 volts) and still the same so maybe it is LED array....

Drv-on is at 3.3v when BL comes on and stays exactly the same when BL goes off.
LED + (P210) is at 36v when power is switched on and when BL comes on it goes to 56v then drops slightly to 53v when BL goes off.
Connectors P201 and P202 voltages are all at 7v when BL is on but jumps to 18-19v when the BL goes off.Leave a comment:

Hi Guys. I'm having the exact same problem with the exact same model (LG 47LS4500). It turns on and looks and sounds great for just a few seconds then the backlight goes off but sound stays on. I put a flashlight to it and I can see video so definitely a backlight problem.
The power supply has an LED that is blinking 4 times. I believe this is an error code but I don't know the error codes for this model. Does anyone have the error codes for this TV?

This insignia ns-32d201na14 LED T V uses the red power light in the front of the set to signal the error codes and it is flashing two times. Can someone please post the error codes or let me know what the two blinks indicates?

Thanx holmzy for making me take a second look at it. All the diodes were fine but I decided to replace the 110 uf 450V main filter capacitor C6530 and it fired right up. It wasn't bulging but it would charge up to 400V when I plug it in and then slowly go down to 160V and then stay there. According to this flo-chart the problem is in the power supply but the service manual does not give you the schematic so I guess I'll have to order a new power supply. Thanx for your help.

This is the best I can do right now. The panel voltage isn't indicated but the audio voltage should be 12 Volts and the VCC is also 12 volts and they all read 0 volts so I guess the power on/off voltage of 3.3 volts isn't firing those circuits.

Sony KDL42EX440 no red light
Customer says red light was coming on but when I plugged it in I got no red light. I'm getting the standby 3.3 volts and I'm also getting a Power on/off voltage of 3.3 volts but when I press the power button that voltage doesn't change. When I remove the cable going to the main board I still have my standby at 3.3 volts but the Power on/off voltage drops to 0 volts so I guess the main board is OK. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. -

I'm getting one short beep then one long beep but I'm not sure if this is a memory problem because I removed both memory boards then tried each separately and still get the same exact beeps. I don't have a known good memory right now but if there is anything else I should check please let me know. Thanx. -
