Can you centre ground in the middle (0V)? Also on DC coupling?

sorry for delay - didn't see next posting ! dc coupled, zero-ed, dc volts. can't get it to sync.

on another note - wondering why I have no sound ?? never hear anything. Have tried to change inputs with remote and increased volume. ???

Verify that's on 10V/div, if so, it looks OK to me. So you probably have main board or control board fault. You should be able to see panel glow in the dark...

on 5 volt / div. highest scope goes is 5 volts.
          I'm suspecting control board.
If I disconnect the LVDS cable from main board - turn power on, still get 4 blinking blue light ??
If I disconnect all ribbon cables from control board with LVDS plugged in - still get 4 blinking blue light.
if I force PS_on, disconnect LVDS, jumper 3-4 on control board - no display ??
also - no audio whatsever ??

replaced control (logic) board with new one - same results. about ready to give up on this set.

last thing I'd like to know is proper start-up of this set.
Assuming light is blue on standby, push main power button and blue light goes out, hear samsung startup audio chime and display powers up.

anybody have a working set that knows the start-up sequence ???

On plug in - this set has blue light, press power on button - light flashes 4 times then goes off, all power supplies are good with no audio or display. Remote will flash blue light for every button pressed on it. thanks

If only 5V/div you have a problem, the panel is not getting enough voltage (100V instead of 200V), check CAL on scope is in locked position.

scope is calibrated - thinking the same thing when u asked in earlier post. Ground was attached to chassis and scope reading was only -100V.
what is strange is why there is no audio. Y-Main repair is expensive - I believe that is what the problem is.

tried forced power on again - all voltages good, pin 1-2 jumper-ed nothing on display. pin 3-4 jumper-ed nothing on display. thinking bad main board along with Y-Main SMD soldering problem.

Don't believe set is worth fixing.

I currently have this set and working. The blue standby light stays on when plugged in. It'll blink 4 times and then go off while the chime sounds and the tv turns on. This is the normal start up process.

thanks !! I didn't know it blinked 4 times (normal). I have the 4 blinks but can't get the chimes - tried a lot of different things. I believe my main board is bad along with the Y Main as i don't have enough voltage output to Y buffers. I'm junking it. Y main repair is at least $150. Main boards are selling around $100.
