Samsung 32" LCD TV 15 seconds to black LE32A336J1D

I'm trying to fix this 32" LCD TV. The symptoms are that the TV comes on for about 15 seconds then it shuts down. Once it has shutdown it turns itself back on, and it just goes round in a loop of being on for 15 seconds then shutting down after that.

When it is on, you can use the buttons on the side of the TV to change the channel, change the volume, change the input, access the menus and so on.

All the colours are bad when the TV is on- there seems to be not enough red perhaps? Everything looks strange. If you have it on analogue tuning, the snow looks like black and white snow though.

Internally, the power supply appears to be good- it is putting out all the right voltages. The backlights seem fine. So I suspect the T-Con (strongly), or a bad panel or a bad main board. I've checked the voltage regulators I can find on the main board and they seem to be putting out sensible voltages (a 3.3V, a 1.6V and an 8V from an adjustable one).

Any tips on how I can narrow it down more than this?

Just a wild guess are you using a surge protector I have read that a surge can corrupt an eeprom.

What happens when you power up the tv with the T-con disconnected from the SSB?

Also, is the PS b/d still outputting voltages when the Tv 'appears' to be power cycling?

Check ON/OFF or BLON pin is stable.

            That's the main board, right?

Same- backlights fire, then go out after 15 seconds. repeat.

What happens is the backlights go out, then the power drops from 24v down to 0, then the TV goes on again and the 24v comes back.

The backlight on/off pin is always 5 and a bit volts unchanging whilst the lights are on.

If you meant the PSU on off pin (like PS_ON) I've not managed to find that.

Samsung UN40H5003 boot loop every ~8 seconds
                    by eigma
Hi, I rescued a Samsung UN40H5003AF (H = 2014 FHD) from the curb. Symptoms are: standby (red) light comes on, stays on for 8 seconds, flickers off, then comes back on, and the cycle continues.

                    Service manual: https://www.electronica-pt.com/esque...is-u8la-71272/

SMPS board: checked voltages, all seem normal (A13V = 12.8V, UD = 3.3V, PWM_BLU = 0.77V, PS_OnOff = 5.5V). Remove 10p cable to main board -> backlight comes on. I think this means SMPS board and backlight are good.

                    Main board: BN94-07592P / BN97-08922R...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                    by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
