    Olevia LCD HDtv 242-S11 will not turn on.

    Input: 100-240v-60150Hz 2.5A ( MAX)

    I am not technically inclined in any capacity so I have no idea what to put here but this is what I found and this is the model number of this television.

    We have been having troubles with this tv for a while now over the last week and a half actually.

    We got this tv back in 2007 and have barely if ever had any problems with it until now that is.

    A week ago it started behaving strangely as in not responding correctly the volume on the tv kept cutting out and it was an act of congress to get it back each time.

    Now this morning my mom tried to turn it on and it wouldnt budge we tried a few things and the blue light blinked really quickly and went off and it still refused to turn on no matter how much we tried to get to work.

    I dont know anything about the capacitors whats inside etc... so please bare with me and talk slowly so I can understand please lol

    As I said I am not technically inclined in any capacity unfortunately.

    If anyone can help me id truly appreciate it please help me find a way to get it to work or at least give me an idea as to what we can do if we cant fix this.

    We have had it unplugged a bit and kept plugging it back in weve been following a few ideas we found online but none of them worked.

      Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok.       Hi everyone,

      I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

      The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

      The system does not turn on, there is no post.

      I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.

      i got this laptop with no power issue....i flashed the bios and laptop can turn on and use normally....but when i shut it down and rest for few minute (2-3 minutes), it wont turn on....i have to flash bios again...any idea what is the problem?...when i shutdown and suddenly press power button to turn on, it will turn on normally....problem happen when i rest the laptop 2-3 minutes after shutdown, it will not turn on....i need to flash bios again
