Vizio VF550M Loud Pop and a squeak noise, now won't work.

First of all great site, read around and love all the info here! You guys are the best!

I have a 55" Vizio LCD TV VF550M that while I was watching TV in a thunderstorm the power went out and the tv popped and made a 5-7 second noise and quit working. I was able to get the tv to work with using the power button on the tv as the remote quit working. It worked for one night then popped again and all I have now is a orange Vizio light where it's getting power but not turning on. I have taken the back of the tv off and checked the boards checking for bad capacitors, doesn't look like this is my issue? My question is where do I check with the voltage meter on the board to see if I am getting correct voltage in the right areas? Pop of death from what I have read along the forum, TV is 4 years old as I purchased new in 09. This is my first time working on a tv, but I'm pretty handy when it comes to soldering. I will upload some pictures of the boards, maybe you guys can see something I can't. Sorry for the long read!

Any ideas on fuses for this tv, this ceramic fuse appears to be okay?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Lenovo E15 Gen 2 Keeps Beeping Loud Noise
          by justice171
          Hello Badcaps Members,

I'm experiencing an issue with my Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2, and I'm hoping someone here might have some insight. The laptop charges to full capacity, but as soon as I power it up, I get a loud sound, and there's no POST.

I disconnected the battery and connected a USB meter, which shows 20V 0.23A when the sound occurs. I've already tried changing the screen, but it didn't resolve the issue.

When I use Lenovo PC Diagnostics App I get results as 01000

          Here are the details:
          • Model: Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2
          • Board Numbe

Removing electrical noise introduced by fan
          by tony359
          Hi all,

I am working on a sound processor, it tends to overheat so I fitted a fan inside. The fan is connected to the +15V of the PSU via a DC-DC converter based on the LM2596 to reduce the voltage to around 10.5V.

Unfortunately the analogue circuitry is picking up the noise from the fan in two ways:
          1. The fan is close to the analogue section, the motor itself gets into the outputs so I'll have to move it somewhere else
          2. Even with the fan running outside of the case, there is still some noise which is clearly going back to the processor via power line....

Onkyo TX-SR805 noise in one channel
          by MegaZAC
Surprisingly enough, this receiver doesn't have the DSP chip issue. The HDMI board does not get hot, and sound over HDMI works fine.

Regardless of the input, the right channel has noise that is clearly noticeable even on average volume level. The only cases when there's no noise is when VCR input is selected (some tracks on the board are damaged, maybe that's why), or if HDMI input is selected but nothing plugged into it. In all other cases, even when no input is connected I still have the noise.

There's some logic behind it. As soon as I select an input I get only left...
