    Samsung LN32C350D1D Picture Freeze

I have a Samsung 32" LN32C350D1D that is freezing up 1-3 minutes after power on. Here is what happens. Power TV on, everything appears fine, video and audio display fine from any source. After 1-3 minutes, the picture just kind of dissolves into a few vertical lines in the colors of whatever source material was playing at the time. The audio continues to work. The onscreen menu will not display after this happens. Turning the TV on and back on immediately restarts the sequence with it working fine for 1-3 minutes.

I've taken pictures of the boards, attached. Just wondering where to start on troubleshooting this one. My understanding is the TCONN on this board is integrated into panel? and may not be replaceable.

Does this sound like a main board issue or a power supply issue?

I would recommend checking all voltages leaving the power supply before and after the issue occurs. If the voltages remain steady the whole time then probably suspect main board. If any voltages drop, then look at power board.

      disclaimer: I'm an amateur

If the audio is still working then the main board is still working to some extent...
When the freeze issue happens is the backlight still on? Can you take a picture of this happening and show it..

Could be something overheating on the main board. Freeze spray (ironically) might be of use to track down the point of failure... could be bad cap, cold joint or IC overheating. Better pics of the boards, back and front would be helpful..

I'll try to get better pictures tonight, the back light is definitely staying on.

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
            by TR103
            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
            - sound and backlight, but no picture
            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
            - it keeps rebooting
            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung QN75Q6DRA, No Picture, Has BL, and Sound
            by Dodgethis
            Hello all,

This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...

            Samsung QE55Q60RAT - no picture
            by YellowJacket
            Hi friends,

a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound. With left flex connected, TV is restarting + working sound. I supposed, left side is damaged, so I then blocked all 8 CLK pins ( going from 0R resistors on the second...

Samsung UE50TU8000K no picture or lanes on it
            by Dobsuk
Hi guys, i am dealing with one Samsung 50TU8000K which was without picture - just was resetting itself constantly. Saw some videos and read some post about simmilar issue and the advise was to try to tape cut off method and started to put tape on some of the pins on this ribbon cable:

And then i had picture but with lanes. Tried different pins and combination but could not managed to make it work without any lanes so far. Will keep playing with it though.
The weird thing is that i tried it again without any tape on the pins and now i have picture with just few lanes...
