It's the exact same sticker number. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: Polaroid FLM-323B with Element main, works but shows "Element" on screen at power
No. The firmware for the board is programmed with the logo, there is no changing that without replacing the firmware.
One trick: You could put a large capacitor on the BLON line so the screen stays dark during the boot-up sequence. A series resistor may be necessary. Use 3RC (3 * resistance * capacitance) to get a good estimate of R and C to create a decent delay.

Re: Polaroid FLM-323B with Element main, works but shows "Element" on screen at power
I do have a dead Element FLX-3211 under the bench that, according to ShopJimmy.com, came from the factory with the same panel and control box as this Polaroid. I bet I could have it swapped in an hour. The only downside is that I could potentially damage the screen.Comment

Got it all swapped tonight. It was a snap. Now the Element works and says "Element" at start-up.Comment

by TheQuentinccHi,
I have a Dell XPS 9300 that's working perfectly fine with an external display plugged, from windows the internal display isn't detected. At boot I can see the Dell logo then when it should display the boot/bios or whatever the screen goes black (no backlight, no image using a flashlight). I tried unplugging everything on the motherboard except the eDP cable but it didn't helped (so it's not the lid sensor). LCDVDD/backlight power are powered down when this happen, PANEL_BKEN_EC and ENVDD_PCH are also down to 0v. It's weird, it almost feels like the motherboard is shutting down the display...06-26-2025, 01:44 PM -
by EazyBoneOn this TV I got black screen with with picture.
Tested the LEDs and they work.
Had a hunch that this was similar to a ONN tv thread I found and wanted to post about this to possibly help someone else.
The capacitor by the LEDs is bulging, 450v 10 uf. I suspect this is the cause. Will post results after replacing the capacitor. You could just replace power board as well I assume.

Help to identify the element, marking on the element - C31PH. It stands next to the USB 3.0 and it looks like it is ESD Protect chip. We need a datasheet to this element. Maybe someone has already identified such an element. Help please.

by CapLeakerGot a case of something new weird at work. There is an old 2nd gen Intel i3 in an old “Pizza box” shell that has a small form factor power supply. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures and model number off it.
Anyway, I get to work and get to look at this computer. Standby LED on the PSU is on, but the computer won't start. Hmm o.k. take the battery out of the main board try again, nothing.O.k. then… unplug the power supply from the main board and put in a full size ATX PSU (yeeeesss! Exact that blown Powerman IP that I fixed a while back), plug it in and the old...

by EasyGoing1I've got this circuit that I've been playing with on a breadboard. I'm not happy with it mainly because the MOSFET gets too hot and generally controlling the temp of the heating element with the Arduino has proven to be a little more cumbersome than I would like.
What I would like to know, is what is the best way to set up a circuit like this? The heating element is just a PCB and its going to be mounted under a 3D-printed enclosure that a lizard will use to warm his belly.
This is the general setup that I have now.
This is what the... - Loading...
