Samsung BN44-00438B LCD TV Power Supply

    Hi Folks!
I've searched high and low for a schematic of this Samsung (Hansol) power supply to try and figure out what the devices are in the gate drive circuit for the backight inverter h-bridge.
    Both MOSETS read open D-S.
One of the G-S zener diodes was shorted, the other reads open. I need to know what their zener voltage is. I suspect somewhere around 10 volts.
There are a few resistors that have changed value, and I think I have the right numbers off of those resistors.
There are these other devices identified as B1803 and B1804 that are in series with the gates. One reads shorted and the other one, which is cracked, is reading around 280k ohms. There are no identifying marks on these devices.
Any thoughts on what they might be?
A schematic would really be nice, too!

Thank you VERY much for any help you can provide!

G-S zener will be around 18~27V.
Exact value is noncritical but must be less than MOSFET Vgs(MAX) (typically ±20-30V) and more than the controller chip Vcc.

      Hi craigc15

Do you maybe solve your problem and perhaps you know what transistors ( Q1801 & Q1803 ) are used?
Also, do you maybe know value for R1842 and R1845?

Thank you very much for any help

What Zener Diodes on a Linear Power Supply
          by caspian
          Dear members,

I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.

Samsung BN44-00262A H37F1-9SS power supply help finding blown value components!
          by cheeky2
This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
          by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

On M-Audio AV40 active studio speaker's two zener diodes get really hot.
          by Dvsr
Hi. I need help from wiser guys. I am amateur in electronics and can't figure this out by myself.
I bought faulty speakers, M-Audio AV40's. Other speaker has all the electronics in it and the other speaker is just passive one powered by the other speaker's amp. Original problem with the speakers was loud buzzing. I figured out that there is something wrong with the capacitors. I went ahead and replaced every electrolytic capacitor on the PCB. The caps are good quality and have the same values as the original ones.
After replacing the caps I started testing out the speaker. It seemed...
