RCA M05WH72S screen stays dark/dim

I just got this TV free from a family member who says the replaced the bulb not long ago. I know this tv is older and I know it is kind of old but if it would be a cheap fix or easy fix I wouldn't mind keeping it. Now the problem is the screen is really dark even with a room that is dark and the brightness set high. Aside from that I also noticed when I looked at it from a couple different angles I could see around the middle of the screen what looked almost like a lamp reflecting off the screen (Again a dark room). So I am just wondering what would cause this if the lamp was supposedly replaced recently....

didn't see how to close my thread... I just fixed it I took the bulb out and put it back it... it wasn't in there properly so if someone can delete/close this or tell me how thanks!!!!

Just leave it hear for other users. Nice easy fix.
Is this a DLP, LCoS or other type of rear projection set?
