Olevia LCD HDTV 242FHD-T11 cannot change input source
Hi,
I have an Olevia LCD HDTV 242FHD-T11 for about 3-5 years (cannot remember clearly). It was working fine until recently.
I was changing source from HDMI to Component 1 and suddenly the TV doesn't response to the remote anymore. At first I thought it's the remote's battery, but after changing the battery, it's still not working. The I tried to use the button at the bottom of the TV to change, still doesn't work. Here is what is working and what is not. From remote, nothing works, except volume. From the buttons at the bottom of the TV, only volume, menu, power on and off works. Now the TV is stuck at the cable source. Since I have parent control pin set and key pad on the remote is not working, I don't know if the cable is working or not.
I tried to open the back and see if there is bad cap, but I don't see anything obvious. And my TV powered on OK, so I think the power control board is OK. I'll attach the pictures.
This is the first time I'm trying to fix something. Please help!
