Stripes on Webcam with Composite-Output

We have found out, that on older Webcams with a composite output like a one from Hauppauge and also used in older webcams like the AXIS Neteye 200 there is a badcap that produces stripes on the Output.





we coudn't solder the old one (2505) out, because it sticks on and so we solded a new one over it. Beside it, at the Hauppauge one there was no cap but at the AXIS one.

i would love to see you put that thing back together after replacing the other smt caps.
and you will need to...soon.
hint.use 2 fine point irons and heat both leads.lift with the irons like chopsticks.
replace with smt tantalums and forget it till the ccd dies.
