Budm, sorry for the confusion. I am getting 5.3vdc on the t-con in one side and .7vdc in the other side with the tv on. The other reading was with the tv unplug.
Budm, Sorry for the confusion. I am getting 5.4 vdc in on side of the cp1 fuse and .7vdc in the other side of the fuse with the tv on, the other reading was with the tv unplug.
The fuse is failed, very common failure on this set from my understanding. So replace the fuse.

Hey, Tom66 and Budm, You guys make everything look so simple that even a guy like me with no experience at all can work on a tv. I almost have a heart attack went i plug the tv and ALELUYA!!! there was a picture, It look great. What i did was to put a fuse n top of the old one, I could not belived went i saw it on. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT< THANKS YOU> Let me go now and tell everybody, and i will recomend this site to every one that is into fixing electronic. I be on craig list soon to get another tv and play, but i promess i will do my homework first. Really thank you.
Enjoy the TV. It's really surprising the amount of stuff that gets thrown out which is easy to fix.

I usually remove the fuse but it's much easier to bodge one on top for someone not used to SMD.

That's why I mentioned it to be a common fault, I've seen two others on here with that fault plus yours.
