Re: TV Repair Reference Library
Hello there ..
AS15 gamma processor is usually broken.
What could be the reason for this?
SCL / SDA signal irregularities? Did you study the effect of high frequency? Is the workload?
It's a question a lot in my head. If the answers come from your friends, I'll be happy.
Please provide a description theorists ...
Thank you ..Last edited by Kom; 08-24-2015, 09:01 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: TV Repair Reference Library
Have a Samsung ln40A530p1fxza. Showing solarized colors, even the menu letters are messed up. Tried all inputs. Did factory reset in service menu, when tried to calibrate HDMI it always said "Failed". Yesterday tried to watch a football game and as I was browsing games, for a second the picture came back normal but then switched back to solarized colors. Do you guys think it is the T-Con board or a bad cable?Leave a comment:

Hi
I have been using this forum for quite some time now , and I can say you are an amazing Community .
These last few weeks I have been writing a Fault Database for the community
Everyone can instantly add new categories and faults entries to share with others
You can search the database by category , fault description , or diagnosis / fix .
I know I still have some minor bugs I will be working on when I find some free time
Here is the url

Register and login.
Any suggestions are welcome.Leave a comment:

Screen Black (no display) failure usually encounter some display only one lamp or circuit protection. For easy troubleshooting , we need to remove (by pass) the protection.

Re: TV Repair Reference Library
Yes, I agree. I only got back into the hobby of repairing TVs about a year ago and was getting up to speed with the flat screen technology. I kept thinking I was missing something. I'd download a SM and couldn't find the schematics. Then eventually the penny dropped; no one except us enthusiasts goes down below board level. I've repaired a few power supplies by diagnosis (going beyong simply changing out the electros) but otherwise I've always had to go for board changeovers for the rest.Leave a comment:

Re: TV Repair Reference Library
Ten and more years ago, I don't remember not having full schematic and a parts list with almost any SM I bought. Now you don't seem to get either.Leave a comment:

Re: TV Repair Reference Library
Sadly, because the typical TV tech only works down to board level, I find that getting the detail you are looking for always remains challenging. Many of the clever chaps on this Forum have often identified the typical components that fail and can give life again to Y-Sus and Z-Sus boards again, but most often it's a change-out/change-over situation.Leave a comment:

by blues_spiritHello from France,
mon2 kindly advised me to post a thread to ask the question(s) I'm concerned about. I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for practical courses for troubleshooting pc motherboards especially laptops in Europe, if possible in France. I have been a computer network system administrator and a corrector of administration modules for automated programs under Unix. But I really miss the practical "ops" side of troubleshooting. So I would like to start from the beginning: 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V and 19V tests for example, etc...
Do you think this is feasible for me? I... -
by speaktorobSo a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.
Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.-

by gcrezzThe issue with this video card is the HDMI port. Specifically on pin 19 (Diode checks on all other pins are normal). When i do a diode check on it from the pin on the board itself, I have nothing. There is also no short on the pin. Resistance reads about 200k. Normally on any HDMI pin 19 I would expect some voltage drop anywhere from .5v to 1.2v but here, I have nothing. The card is operational and can be used via the displayPort ports, but not through the HDMI. Attached you will find the pdf schematics for the card on page 22. I have verified that all of the resistors on this line before the...07-25-2024, 09:49 AM

Hello all,
As the title states, I followed the troubleshooting guide located here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/23...page=53#manual, which concluded the 'A' board needs to be replaced. Looking around the net and eBay, I see that there are repair services for the board (TNPH1043UE? Not sure if it is a 'UE' as the suffix grid does not appear marked). What additional troubleshooting can be performed to ensure 1) this board is the problem and 2) since there are repair services, what are they fixing on the board?) I expected 3.3V not to be available anywhere... -
by RhorkHello,
I would like to know the reference of a QFN-20 because the reference marked on the chip does not give anything...
PC Reference : HP Pavilion - 15-cs0006nf
Motherboard : DA0G7BMB6D0 rev D
Reference marked on the chip: AWVAIL
Type : QFN-20
I didn't find a boardview or repair schematics
Thanks in advance... - Loading...
