    Another Part Swapping Q for Vizio TVs

    Got a Vizio L32HDTV10A from someone who tinkered with it but gave up and a VW32LHDTV20A from Freecycle.

    The L32 has a good LCD but TWO bad power boards (he bought another one but apparently that didn't help). The VW32 has a cracked LCD but has a good backlight.

    The L32 uses the LG T315XW01 V.2 and the VW32 uses the LG320WX3.

    I haven't looked inside the VW32 but if someone were to say swapping parts between these two Vizio products is no possible, I'll start the process of parting out the VW32 and work some more on the L32.

      T315XW01 isn't an LG panel -- that's an AUO part number.

      I don't think they would be compatible as I believe the LG versions of the Vizio have the T-con on the main board and AUO versions use an external T-con which comes with the panel.

              Hi There!
              I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
              He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
              It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
              The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

              So My iPad was not charging and booting up . i went to a local technician and he checked with thermal and this Part marked in 1st Photo is Short.
              So then i went on to boardview and downloaded the schematics and identified this part in 2nd Photo. Now i am confused what exactly is the part called ? where should i get this from ?


              i contacted my technician and he sent me his BoardVIew screenshot in 3rd Photo. In his Boardview the part is called X2826.... Something

              SO My main concern is what part should i order what should i search the name for ?

              I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

              Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

              I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

              The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

              With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

              Hi.

              picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
              When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
              This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...
