Hello, I found this TV in a rental I cleaned out. Here's what it's doing. Red standby light comes on when plugged in. Blue light comes on when I push power button. DVD player operates and shuts off. There is no picture. I put a flash light to the front and could see it reading no signal. I pushed the menu button and could see the menu. I took the back off and can see where the board got really hot under the two caps that normally go. Also the biggest cap has a dome top. I was thinking starting with these three caps. Who's the best place to get just those three caps? Thanks for your response. I attached some pics to look at. Also, the red LED on the back blinks with power on. Oh, sorry if the pics are to big. I had no way to scale them down on my iPhone. let me know if their to much.

Those two 450V for the backlights power supply are bad, you can see the domed top, they are common failure. Might as well replace all the caps at the same time.

Re: Opinion needed on Polaroid TDA03211c
hi i have just repaired one off these power supply boards the two 10uf 450v caps at ec17/18 need to be replaced ,then check if it works if it does fine if not check fuse F2 along side the big cap looks like a green ressitor if this is ok replace Q16/17 mosfet 9a 500v but try the 10uf 450v caps, by the way the red LED needs to be out when the board is working it is only on when faultyComment

Re: Opinion needed on Polaroid TDA03211c
So I'm at the digikey website and man, so many caps to choose from. Most read the same . The differences are in hours @ temp and ripple current in mA. I'm not knowledge in all this. Can someone point me in the right direction here. I was gonna purchase the 450PX10M10X20 Rubycon 1189-1374-ND but wanted to make sure. Thank youComment

Re: Opinion needed on Polaroid TDA03211c
Don't get the Rubycon PX. There are much better ones for the same price:
493-6858-ND
P13671-ND
Much better choices (The Panasonic one is slightly better). Are the ones you need specifically 10mm wide by 20mm tall?Comment

by DeXXterHello, so I replaced a soc SRK08 (i3-1115G4) on a hp 14-dq because the 1.8v power supply was shorted and the pch was gone and I installed a SRK05 (i5-1135G7) that I had at hand. And I was wondering if a clean me region is needed after replacing the chip, I usually do this on laptops with separated pch, but with a soc (cpu and pch together) I have no idea. Normally I wouldn't ask this, but I have only the motherboard, no screen nor the adapter, and after I fix this I have to send it to another region so if someone knows about this, some help would be apreciated.
