Hello! I was watching tv one day and it shot sparks out the back and quit working. Now when ever i try to turn it on you can hear it whine and a little electrical noise comes out of the little box with the copper wires around it.

Now im not a expert by any imagination but i am somewhat knowledgeable about electronics and the capacitors look alright no doming on top as far as i can tell.

the one i think the noise is coming from is the one closest to my nose lol

If it shot sparks, usually there will be some burning on the frame of the tv (relative to where it happened) and on the board. The pictures are not that great for us to look at; high resolution is a must.

Yea the pics are crappy i only have a web cam i was just wondering if anyone knows what those boxes like the one closest to my nose are called and if they are replaceable?

The "boxes" are probably transformers or inductors, they aren't a common failure. Whatever controls them has gone bang and is causing the whining. I would suspect a diode on the output side.

New images for you guys i found my charger to my cellphone these should be pretty HD i couldnt get the uploader to work for some reason...

Where would i find these diodes?
