I posted about this earlier this week, but This time I have more info about it. As stated its a 47lg50 and the screen goes off after about a half hour however the backlight and audio stay on just the image goes off.
What I've tried:
1. I tried running it without the back cover and with 2 fans blowing on it, and it ran for about three hours, but then I had to shut it off because I was heading to bed. Every component on the back was cold to the touch
2. I tried the same thing with out fans and it did get warmer but it stayed running for about the same time, and the I shut it off because I had to go
Any ideas on what could be overheating? I am thinking about installing one or two computer fans in the back to assist in cooling and maybe making some vents on the back cover bigger. The fans I thought would help also to keep the overall temperature down, which might help everything last longer. I don't want to start replacing things if I don't know what it is, so any ideas can help. Also I didn't see any bulging or leaking caps on the psu though they still could be bad, if that helps at all.

Thanks,
Rcgui
