    lcd backlights

i picked up a lcd tv with a cracked screen and tore it apart.

the panel came apart easily so im wondering if the lamps are sellable or what i should do with them?

also does it pay to keep any of the filter sheets?

What, four tubes? Is that all?

Keep the filter sheets. I had a water damaged TV which could have done with them (luckily, I was able to re-arrange and clean the sheets such that it wasn't noticeable but not everyone could be as lucky.)

            there out of a 32" Emerson lc320emxf
            p/n= A91FNMPW
            p/n= A91FNMIV
if you need them make a fair offer.
i can throw in the speakers, hdmi board, and front led board

            what i did was buy 2 bad tv's from the pawn shop. a 32" and a 42" for $120(risky, i know).
the Emerson i have to part out and so far i found 3 bad caps in the 42" philips. hopefully i can make some money fixing the 42".

AOC CQ27G2U/BK - in need of data sheets
                by David Stroe
I am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).

I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:

                Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
                Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
                T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF

If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....

Samsung UE48H6410 replaced Mainboard but backlights doesnt go on
                by max789
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

                I made the following tests:
                1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
                2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

                VIZIO M557-G0: Backlights or ???
                by bpcannan
                'Morning,
I get sound and picture when powering on the TV and its stays that EXCEPT that the left half of the screen will dim every few seconds then return to normal while the right side of the screen performs as designed.

Did the soft and hard reset options pulling the plug, using the reet option in the vizio menu to no avail.

I checked the mainboard - found some popped capacitors so replaced it - but that did not change the situation.

I checked the t-con board. It is getting good power. Then I removed one ribbon cable to see if I could isolate...

Samsung UE49MU6400 acts dead until disconnecting backlights, then works.
                by jesterace
Hi everyone I have this TV which was dead one day when I tried to turn it on. I've had the cover off and there was just a pulsating/electrical clicking/ticking noise from the PSU. I disconnected the mainboard as sometimes this works to just fire it up with backlights on? That didn't help. Same noise. Then I disconnected the backlight cable from the PSU and the TV came alive. It appeared to respond to the remote and i'm pretty sure it's fully operational when there is no backlight connected.

However, I am in a dilemma.

I tested the backlight outputs with the lights disconnected...

                clean hisense inner sheets
                by Raulnn
Can you clean the internal sheets of a tv? I have a 58-inch TV and I don't know if it's worth cleaning the sheets. I have seen that it has dirt on the sheets and the leds are blown. I don't know if they look good when you clean the sheets. Thanks in advance.
