Does it turn off or do just the backlights go off?
Do NOT touch heatsinks when testing for voltages as they may be LIVE!

I reset the TV by holding the Start button after unplugging the TV... No help. What should I do? Anyone else has experienced this with Visio Tv's?

Asus P8Z68-V/Gen3, after saving UEFI settings, shuts down, doesn't restart
        by pfrcom
I've tried all BIOSes available to download, most recently first release version 0301, using an i3-2100

For each try, after externally reprogramming its Winbond 25Q64BV (DIP8) with TL866IIplus

Always same outcome - after Save & Exit, board shuts down and doesn't restart

If I press onboard Power button, it'll start up then shut down again

After jumpering CMOS Clear, it'll start to UEFI settings then repeat same behaviour

        It's had a new CR2032 fitted

Closer examination found a second flash IC, a soldered...

THINKPAD T460S auto restart after shutting down???
        by canhnguyen777mc
I'm having problems with my Lenovo thinkpad T460s laptop.
It will automatically restart when shutdown.(uses battery)/
Using the adapter + battery is ok. But when the adapter disconnected it will automatically restart.
I tried reinstalling the operating system and testing in the PE environment but nothing changed.
I think the problem is in BIOS SETUP.
        Can someone help me?

        Power Issue with ASUS A705UA.
        by Christian0734
        Hello

The PC starts and shuts down correctly when the battery is removed. However, if I hot-plug the battery, it starts charging as if everything is normal. However, when I turn off the computer and then restart it, there is no display on the screen. The battery indicator blinks slowly, the fan runs, and the power consumption is approximately 520 mA, as if the computer is in standby mode. At this point, even if I disconnect the power supply, the computer doesn't start up normally anymore. Pressing the power button to force a shutdown works, but as soon as I release the button, the...
