I measured the standby voltages... they are 5.1 - 5.25. I went and got a surge protector of Philips of 1000 Jules. The TV has been runing since! Any idea?Leave a comment:

I kept trying to start the TV.. Suddenly started. Ran for a day or so and then shut off..
Powered if unplugged but shuts right off after 3 seconds. I let the TV sit for an hour or so and then restarted the TV. Stated again. Will get the meter and test for voltage.
Will post the results soon.

Hi,
My TV keeps shutting off... have to unplug and restart and it starts for like 3 seconds and shuts off! Any idea what the problem is and how to repair this?
