Bad panel configuration or bad t-con.

They may be fixable by replacing parts or resetting the configuration.

You would need to access the service menu first (MENU on remote at same time as MENU on TV) and try a reset first.

If that doesn't work, then the t-con board would need swapping.

You would need to get us the model # and pictures of the inside for the t-con location.

Hey I have a Vizio 32" LCD doing that same thing but it is only in one area of the tv (sectioned vertically). Its to the right side of the screen about 5" in length. Is perfically uniformed vertically so I thought bad tcon. Nope. But if I manipulate the screen by barely pulling out lvds I can get the screen to go crazy. I do this on purpose to see if the green mist look goes away in that area and it does.
Anwway. A tcon may or not fix that but I'm thinking main board.

Did I leave the soldering iron on?

its the panel i had a sanyo with that same problem. I put the guts in another tv (pop and swap) and the other sanyo worked fine.

I saw the exact same thing in a friend's son's TV. An LG, 42 inch. Can't remember the model number. The TV repair shop said it was the main board and gave a high estimate. I looked at it and guessed T-Con. I ordered the bd from ebay after I found it at a reasonable price but by the time I got the board in the mail, the problem went away and has not returned. Been over 6 months now. Bad connection?

Update, owner say, If TV disconnect from 220V (I dont know for what period) power supply, then next time work OK (for random time, maybe 5 minut's or 30 maybe more) then again get this problem, probably this is not just a bad contact on the T-con or another flat cable ?

                      Thankyou.

It appears to be temperature sensitive. Can still be a poor connection. Maybe reseat the flat cables going to and from the T-Con bd. Maybe take the back of the set and use it that way...it will stay cooler with the back off.
