is it a uni jtag? make sure cable in right slot! an make sure ya have it the right way, pogoed will take a couple of stabs at it!

Ya it worked back in the day (non buffered soldered) nothing has changed? It will not read now? 2700 no problem must be something to do with the 3100 Its been a long time loss my touch.

make sure no cold solders on the head of the jtag!

It is the top jtag and the solder is good. I seem to remember having a similar problem way back when that was an issue with the 3100 only and I can't remember what it was and what I had to do to overcome it.

dont ground to ground pad, tuck under a screw, an try wall if jkey fubarren!

well if the cpu isnt detected, wall will not do much. what i did on some ird's that wouldnt be detected at all with jkeys is to pull the tsops and flash them externally

Can you point me to the steps to move my sc to another ird? I have changed the IRD # and boxkeys in the tsop (new ird) with flashedit and have flashed that using jkeys. Thats all I can remember from days gone!! by there must be something else I need to do? Do I need to flash the eeprom? If I am in the wrong fourm let me know

load tsops in flash edit , got to save area! an will see save eep! just save a new one, make sure to enter build correctly an write that to ird!

To fix acquire signal all you need is a heat gun.just take out board and heat chip up were the cable goes. Keep gun about 3 to 4 inches away. reason to reconnect soil
