Got a Vizio P42HDTV10A that stumping me. Basically it has no vs or va voltages. It does have the 5v standby and the orange standby light. When its plugged in initially, it'll click a relay once. At that point there is no va or vs voltages. Unplugged the cables to the Y-sus and Z-sus with similar results no vs or va voltage. The SMPS has a auto/normal switch, if its in the auto mode, the panel does light up and produces voltages @ Y-sus & Z-sus. Thinking either its a main board issue or a control board but not sure if there's a way to check to see if its the main. Was hoping there was a way to force the tv to turn on like the Samsung tv's where you can jumper the logic board and short the pins on the smps's power on & ground pins..

In auto mode does it power up right away when plugging in? Maybe the main board isn't expecting that. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by gurj1979I've got a couple of Intel and AMD boards which turns on fine, all voltages at all coils are present, but there is no display.
I guess this like Code 00 issue.
I've tried a couple of good CPU's and working Graphics Card.
PCH has been replaced too. On one Intel board I have even replaced the CPU Socket.
The CPU's don't get hot, but gets a bit warm.
All RAMs are good.
BIOS is good on all.
PSU is Antec 1000W and I use this for on more powerful boards and 2080Ti cards, so this isn't the issue.
What's the issue when motherboards have this issue ?

by EazyBoneGot this TV free. Guy said it tries to turn on and doesn't. I haven't seen this specific issue before but shown in video. Any way to test the screen to rule it out on these Vizio? Or anyone seen this issue before?
Any help appreciated

by remmurdmdHi everyone. First new thread here. I picked up a TV on the side of the road. It appears to function correctly with the exception of an image issue I'm unable to describe. I've searched for “double picture” and “double image” all over the web and all I get is repair videos for when the picture is blurry and the connections are getting interference between the display panels and the t-con board. I believe this is a t-con board issue, but I haven't found anything telling me conclusively that this is where my issue is. I'd appreciate any assistance you can provide. I live a pretty busy life...

Hello,
I have a 42" Vizio TV. I hooked my tablet to the HDMI inputs. Everything was fine until the screen went black and now the only input that works on the TV is coax. No hdmi, no component, no rca. I tried hooking up a laptop to the Hdmi port and the computer
detected the TV model but no image.
Is there anyone having the same issue? Did you find any solution?
