    Samsung UA46B8000XF

I have one of these LED TVs here.
The problem is a that the picture quality from an off air signal is not good. Its soft, lacks contrast, and the flesh tones are pink and oversaturated. CGI's are very good and some program content is also good. I'm leaning towards one of the movie or picture settings being off. All TV channels here are now digital or HD digital, no analog TV left. I've reset the picture settings, which did give some improvement, but I think it should be better.

How much trouble can I get into by doing a factory reset?

Try entering the menu and turning off the noise reduction feature.

On older "R8" series Samsung LCDs this made the picture look very foggy and muddy.
