    A "D" is a diode. See

Typing in "kjh diode" in your favourite search engine leads to

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

      Re: Help on part

It can be Dual Diode with either common Cathode or Common Anode at the middle pin or single Diode. Just test the other one by putting the meter in Diode mode, black lead to the middle pin then use the red lead to probe the outer legs, if it is common Cathode, the meter should show 0.5~0.6V between the middle pin and each outer pin. If it show OL, or 1 the reverse the leads, if it now show 0.5~0.6, then it is common Anode.
Other circuits may be shorted that is why it tool out the device.

Just use two 1n4148 from Radio Shack for testing. But I think there are larger problem that cause the Diode to burn up like that.

It was my fault, 3 pins on the Flat cable wire from this board to TCON were peeled up when I put it back together. turned on and poof.
